Looks like we're going with a 2.4KW system, which will appear as 14 panels on the south facing (river side) roof. Each panel is roughly 60" x 30".
The Department of Energy provides a good basic overview of these systems.

As both an avid mountain-biker and an avid backpacker (and as someone who has put their money where their mouth is via volunteering to maintain both types of trail systems), I'm completely psyched that these few acres have been added to the National Wilderness Preservation System. You're right in that it is good for Tucker county, in both the long and short terms. Mountain-biking opportunities still exist in spades - the only question is "where do I want to ride?" Canaan Mountain, Canyon Rim, CVI, the Parks, Parsons area, McGowan Mt-Baker Sods, Horseshoe Run, North Fork, Seneca, and they're just the better known areas... you get the picture. There are plenty of great rides left, and yes, I'm gonna miss riding DS North too, but that's life.
